Self-Photopatternable Polymer:            PDM-5028

Promerus’ PDM-5028 polymers were designed to eliminate                                  the effects of formulation additives.

FeaturesPDM-5028

  • No additives required
  • Self- photopatternable
  • Turn thermo plastics to thermosets

Overview

The PDM-5028 platform is comprised of two complementing technologies—a polymer and a thermoplastic—to eliminate the mechanical wear and tear of formulation additives.

One technology relies on a proprietary, self-reacting ultraviolet-sensitive polymer. The second is based on the ability to convert almost any non-reactive thermoplastic into a thermoset.

Both technologies can be used to make photopatterns with feature sizes less than 50 micrometers (μm), the diameter of a human hair.
